The launcher handles everything automatically: downloads and unpacks the game client if needed, auto-updates custom content, configures your realmlist, manages addons (ConsolePort, Questie, etc.), and provides seamless auto-login.
1. Download and run WoW_Neglector_Launcher.exe.
2. If Windows SmartScreen prompts "Windows protected your PC", click "More info" → "Run anyway".
3. If you don't have the game installed, click "DOWNLOAD GAME (16.5 GB)" to automatically download and extract it.
4. Enter your account credentials, check Auto-Login, and click "PLAY NOW"!
Tip for permanent trust: You can optionally download our security certificate (.cer), double-click it → Install Certificate... → Local Machine → place in Trusted Root Certification Authorities to permanently silence SmartScreen.
2 Steam Deck Instructions
1. Switch to Desktop Mode on your Steam Deck.
2. Download WoW_Neglector_Launcher.exe from this page into your preferred folder.
3. Open the Steam desktop app → Games → Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library... → select the launcher.
4. In the launcher's Steam Properties → Compatibility, check "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" and select Proton Experimental.
5. Launch the game in Gaming Mode → tap "DOWNLOAD GAME (16.5 GB)".
6. The launcher automatically optimizes resolution for the Deck (1280x800) and allows 1-click install of ConsolePort for full controller support.
